The BMU funding programmes make the conversion of a floodlight system to energy-saving LED technology (including installation costs) very interesting and easy to implement for municipalities and clubs. This is especially true because BMU funding can be combined with other funding measures. This means that higher funding rates can be achieved.
The prerequisite, however, is that the selected climate protection measure results in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions of at least 50 %.
